Activities

Analysis of existing processes:

  • Transportation: full or partial analysis of your inbound and/or outbound goods flows based on historical data, expectations and/or observations (depending on the incoterms of your purchases and sales).
  • Internal or External Logistics: full or partial analysis of your logistic activities in the warehouse(s) where the incoming and/or outgoing products are stored, both on the premises of your establishment(s) and with third parties in the logistic chain.
  • Supply Chain: full or partial analysis of your company's supply chain from ordering from your suppliers to delivery to your customers, including the logistics between the different production steps.
  • Inventory management: what are the inventory levels used per product?

Process optimization:

  • What are the bottlenecks and inefficiencies? What improvements can be proposed based on the analyses? Ofcourse, without compromising the quality of service and with an eye for flexibility.
  • Where can costs be reduced?
    • Reducing transport costs is possible by optimizing routes, grouping shipments, cooperating with other companies, using intermodal transport, stock optimizations and/or negotiating with suppliers. Attention should also be paid to efficient packaging, delivery frequency, sustainability and regular review of transportation contracts and partners.
    • Reduce logistic costs by critically reviewing all warehouse costs.
    • Be able to reduce costs within the supply chain by better aligning all processes.
    • Inventory managementr: optimizing inventory levels to avoid surpluses and shortages.
  • Can the technologies be improved? Is there a need for a (better) TMS (Transport Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System) or tracking system (track&trace, master data, statistics, ...). Or better material handling, order picking or other systems in the warehouse?

Sustainability and environmental friendliness:

  • Are your company's logistic and transportation activities sustainable and environmentally friendly or can they be improved?
  • What are the opportunities for reducing the carbon footprint?
  • Is your management open to a more sustainable solution if it is more expensive than the existing one?
  • The advantage of choosing a sustainable solution is the positive image and image of your company among all stakeholders.

Customer satisfaction and service quality:

  • Can customer satisfaction be increased within existing practices? Is customer satisfaction going to remain good (or get better) by implementing the optimization(s)?
  • If service quality is very good (or can still be improved), this is very beneficial to your position relative to competitors.

Improve quality and safety (related to transportation and logistics):

  • Quality

    • Focus on quality policies, procedures, controls, automated systems, inventory accuracy, efficient order processing, quality awareness and feedback mechanisms.
    • We can help to set up an evaluation system of your transportation partners or help to prepare an audit.
    • Also with writing procedures or work instructions (whether in connection with ISO or other certificates or audits, or not).
  • Safety:

Focus on safety policies, procedures, equipment, culture, ergonomics, training programs, inspections and maintenance, emergency procedures

we can also offer this, but rather for an exceptional project, a specific period and when starting up new routes, and always by order of you as our customer.

Training and education:

  • For new or adapted routes, suppliers or working methods.
  • For new or modified technologies
  • In case of new or adapted quality or safety regulations
  • ....

Project work:

if your company wishes our cooperation in a certain transport or logistic project, for a certain period of time, for example for a certain number of hours per week, we can also offer this. Your company in this case can be any kind of company, not just a manufacturer.
